Trip to the North Bohemian Museum
The North Bohemian Museum in Liberec was founded in 1873 as an arts and crafts museum and is the oldest museum of this type in the Czech lands. Building
in the romantic-historicist style, in which it is housed today, was completed in 1898. The depositories contain over 700,000 collection items. It has a rich library and three collections departments - natural history, history and art history.
Between 2018 and 2020 it underwent a costly renovation. Its renovated premises, and new modern exhibitions, opened to visitors at the beginning of 2021. Here you will find new exhibitions of arts and crafts and industry, to which one entire floor of the museum is dedicated.
The price per person including entrance fee is CZK 300. The trip must be booked. Trips are held with a minimum of 6 people, the maximum capacity is 16 people.
